Bequests; a gift in Will
Hibiscus Hospice as a charitable organisation, relies on the generous support of our community through primarily donations and bequests.
A gift in Will (or bequest) is often seen as an ideal way to give an enduring gift to a favourite or beloved charity because it costs nothing to do so today.
Most of us will be in a position to give more in our Will than we ever could during our lifetime. What better legacy than a gift in your Will; a gift that will keep on giving for generations for come
We'd all like to leave something of ourselves behind and be remembered in some tangible way, so at Hibiscus Hospice we recognise every bequest received on our Lasting Legacy Wall in the Remembrance Garden.
A small commemorative tile accompanied by a name plaque is now offered to everyone who leaves a gift in their Will.
This is entirely optional and you are able to choose a tile that suits you best from the range available. The tile and name plaque will be erected once your estate is settled and the bequest is complete.
The income we receive from bequests is helping to build an endowment fund that will help Hibiscus Hospice, meet the needs of our community as it grows. It also ensures contributors’ legacies will live on.
If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will to Hibiscus Hospice you’ll also be invited to become a member of our Circle of Friends.
Circle of Friends members will have the chance to meet each year to welcome new members; listen to a variety of guest speakers; get to know each other and the Hospice team; learn more about Hospice and our plans for the future and most importantly be thanked for their generosity.
If you’d like to know more about bequests or our Circle of Friends please contact Allie Downing on 09 421 9180 or download the brochure now.
During the month of October 2017, you can 'Exercise your Free Will'.
