Marketing and Communications Team Leader
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
The Northern Hospice Alliance incorporates Hospice North Shore, Warkworth Wellsford Hospice and Hibiscus Hospice. Together we provide specialist palliative care services to patients and families living within our respective communities. The Alliance is committed to a forward thinking and innovative approach to service development and collaboration.
About the Role
The Marketing and Communications Team Leader is a hands-on, dynamic role that will work across the Northern Hospice Alliance and respond to internal needs for marketing material that promote and raise awareness of Hospice activity. This role will also provide advice and maintain oversight of all internal communications to ensure consistency of messaging and regular communication.
The role will collaborate with the Fundraising Team to produce appropriate supporter communications and campaigns and ensure alignment of the Northern Hospice Alliance websites and collateral.
You will have experience in a similar role ideally in the not-for-profit sector and have proven experience in writing effective marketing material and campaigns across a variety of audiences. Your flexible ‘can-do’ attitude will be evident and you will be comfortable working across all levels of the organisation.
You will bring a creative flair to the role, be IT savvy and comfortable working across multiple platforms from the MS Office suite and CRM’s to websites, search engines and social media to engage our audiences.
You will also have:
- Relevant Marketing/Communication qulaification
Experience leading a successful team
Advanced desktop publishing skills
A collaborative working style and be approachable
An understanding of the Hospice philosophy and empathy for the care of terminally ill people and their families
