Masquerade Ball

Come enjoy the magic and mystique of our Masquerade Ball

The annual Hibiscus Hospice Charity Ball returns for the 4th year and promises to be the most exciting yet.

Held on Saturday July 14th, the ball is the ideal opportunity to dress up, enjoy dining delights and dance the night away. It also makes a fabulous mid-winter function for your staff or clients.

Upon arrival guests will be served with champenoise and canapés, followed by a sumptuous dinner and fine wine. Entertainment includes a theatre performance, the excitement of a live charity auction and dancing until midnight with acclaimed band Prima.
Prima are back by popular demand after appearing at the first two balls – they are a live 7 piece band featuring 2 vocalists and 2 horn players, performing a wide repertoire of swingin' jazz through to modern day hits. The band includes some of New Zealand’s best-known musicians and stars Adrian Keeling and Jane Horder on vocals.

This year’s ball is all the more important after the recent loss of our Whangaparaoa shop to fire - we are relying even more heavily on the community to attend events like this to help us raise the funds necessary to keep the Hospice community based and In Patient Unit services running. So please join us if you can and support your local Hopsice.
