IT Support – Northern Hospice Alliance
0.5 FTE (20 hours per week/4 per day)
The Northern Hospice Alliance incorporates Hospice North Shore, Warkworth Wellsford Hospice and Hibiscus Hospice. Together we provide specialist palliative care services to patients and families living within our respective communities. The Alliance is committed to a forward thinking and innovative approach to service development and collaboration.
About the Role
To provide IT support for the Northern Hospice Alliance to ensure that staff are allocated the right technology solution for their role, access rights are managed, a security system for IT assets is in place and staff are coached and trained to use their tools in the most effective way.
You will bring with you experience in an IT Support environment, enjoying the challenge of being faced with a problem and finding a solution. You will have passion and experience in passing on your skills and knowledge to others and advising where you can on the best solutions for business problems.
You will be our Jack (or Jill) or all things IT so we will pull on your knowledge to help with ICT strategy, project or policies.
You will also have:
- Practical IT support experience and a broad knowledge of technology
- Experience in coaching and training others
- Ability to problem solve and strong analytical skills
- Collaborative approach
- A highly organised and systematic approach to your work
