The Northern Hospice Alliance incorporates Hospice North Shore, Warkworth Wellsford Hospice and Hibiscus Hospice. Together we provide specialist palliative care services to patients and families living within our respective communities. The Alliance is committed to a forward thinking and innovative approach to service development and collaboration.
About the Role
The Grants Coordinator will take overall responsibility for the grants programme across the Northern Hospice Alliance to ensure this vital fundraising stream is maximised. This will be achieved through researching funding opportunities, submitting grant applications, meeting grant accountability and reporting requirements and building and maintaining relationships with funders.
You will have a proven track record of successfully managing a grants calendar to increase income and ideally have experience in the not-for-profit sector. You will have strong administration skills and your written communication skills will be outstanding.
You will also have:
- Experience in a similar fundraising role
- Exceptional communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Exceptional research and information management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organised, approachable and collaborative working style
Excellent IT skills
